Pedro Blomfmann, Yuri Martins and Felipe Mojave advance to WSOP Event 69

Back in Las Vegas, defending the NL 2-7 Lowball Draw title, musician Pedro Bromfman closes in on the leaders to end Day 1. After ten 60-minute events, he has 240,000 chips and is seventh out of 54 qualifiers.

Yuri Martins also participated in the FT of the previous event, advancing with 212,500 chips. Another Brazilian is Felipe Mojave. When he returns to the Paris casino, GGPoker Team Pro will have a total of 111,000 chips.

Among the Brazilian trio, Jason Mercier came out on top. He finished his 60th event a few hours before the start: $1,500 NL 2-7 Lowball draw to earn his sixth gold bracelet.

Play will resume at 5:00 pm. ET, Michael Moncek (452,000) topped the list. The blinds are 1,500/3,000 and the BB bet is 4,500.
